John is the Chairman of the Ortus Group. He and Craig Hall founded the business in August 2011. John has invested in multiple businesses in the past, building up an impressive portfolio of business ventures and expanding his knowledge, particularly in the Ambulance sector.
Peter joined Ortus in September 2020 to set up and lead the Ortus Academy. Since its inception the Academy has grown it’s remit to not only provide insightful promotional content, but create and manage the Ortus Knowledge Hub and Ortus’ innovative, structured learning programmes. The Academy is Ortus’ commitment to being a true partner, investing in meaningful services that help our customers deliver outstanding and effective care to those who need it.
Luke is the Chief Financial Officer of The Ortus Group, responsible for financial strategy, planning and reporting.
Graham was one of the first Ortus employees; he has been with the Ortus Group since 2013. Initially he dealt with everything technical over both the telematics and medical product ranges. As the business has grown, he has moved into more of a specialist role within our Telematics department. His expertise in vehicle electrics and integration has supported the rapid growth of the department including the recent development of leading RFID technology.
Helen joined the company in March 2023 as the Commercial Manager for our Medical portfolio. Spearheading the Business Development department to grow the business and sustain a high level of customer support.
Steve joined Ortus in 2016 as Technical Sales Manager. He is responsible for our Telematics sales division and has a wealth of experience within technological solutions for the blue light sector in particular.
Jamie is our Senior Business Development Manager in our Medical Department. Jamie has over 7 years’ experience in defibrillator and mechanical CPR device sales, and prior to that he was a Paramedic in the NHS for 15 years.
Rob is the Senior Customer Support Engineer in the MedServ department. He has been with Ortus since July 2017. He is part of the team responsible for medical device servicing and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail. His thorough approach ensures that our devices are services to the highest standard to give total peace of mind to our customers.
Based in the South of England (but originally from Nottingham) Emma is a member of our Clinical Business Development team, focused on the Hospital based opportunities and customers.
James started with the Ortus Group in August 2017. A member of the Telematics team, his role as an Electronic Engineer involves CANbus set up, testing and implementation. His work with the wider team includes investigating new methods, technologies and solutions to evolve our product offering and meet business demands.
Moya has an impressive background in Defibrillator sales, and a real passion for our industry and all that we do to help increase survival rates in the event of a cardiac arrest. Moya’s journey with The Ortus Group began in January 2021 as a Business Development Executive. In April 2022 Moya was promoted to the position of Customer Success Manager in our Medical department.
Based in the North of England, Jill is part of our specialist Clinical Business Development team, focused on growing business opportunities in the north, and providing device and sales support for our medical customers.
Hugh joined our clinical business development team in May 2023 to provide device and sales support for our medical customers, drawing upon his years of experience both using and selling similar products from our medical portfolio. Hugh’s expertise provides insights to help our customers make informed decisions for purchasing, along with excellence in aftersales support.
As Clinical Application Specialist, Janey’s role is to provide clinical expertise, education, and support to our customers, whilst supporting other departments and contributing to the growth of the business. She will be heading up our Academy content, including all learning materials for the medical product range.
Emily’s role is to provide clinical support to customers and colleagues. Together with Janey, she is working hard to develop educational resources and training platforms that are easily accessible to our widespread customer base.
Danielle (Dani) started with the business in November 2019 as Group Marketing Executive. The role (and department) was created to facilitate the evolving business with the focus to grow brand awareness and market the range of Medical and Telematics products.
Lauren is a customer support engineer, responsible for looking after medical devices through planned and unplanned maintenance. She is also studying a clinical engineering degree through the University of the West of England with the support of Ortus.
Gill began her Ortus journey in November 2017. The initial position of Operations Support Assistant was temporary; building corpuls3 devices for Wales and Yorkshire ambulance stations. Gradually the demand increased, and Gill’s role adapted to meet the business requirements – when she happily became a permanent team member.
As office manager Joanne is used to juggling the many requests of the team whilst managing the usual day to day tasks for the Ortus offices across the UK. Lists are very useful in Joanne’s line of work and help prioritise the business needs and requirements.
Julie is our friendly first point of contact on the phones and emails! Julie’s role as Business Support Administrator means that she supports the business needs and priorities as and when they occur. She is responsible for processing customers’ orders and enquiries, alongside providing additional support to HR & Facilities and the Service Department.
Helen started with Ortus at the beginning of 2020 as an Operations Support Assistant. Over time her responsibilities grew and evolved into a new role of Fulfilment Coordinator.
Heather is a customer support engineer responsible for PPM and repair of Corpuls Defibrillators in the MedServ department.
Katka joined Ortus in 2013. As Office Administrator she is an integral part of our administration and finance teams. Katka is responsible for processing purchase and sales invoices and all other admin and account related duties. She is currently training to be AAT qualified which will allow her to take on even more duties to support our Finance Department.
Paul is early into his career with The Ortus Group, having started as a Production Operative based at our Scotland Hub in Alloa. Upon recent completion of his Corpuls training courses, Paul was promoted to a Customer Support Engineer.
Joe is an Assistant Accountant on the finance team. His responsibilities include assisting with the day to day running of the department, including processing purchase orders and invoices. As one of the youngest members of the team and recently qualified, Joe is keen to build up his experience and undertake more in-depth tasks both in finance and the wider company.
Mackenzy joined our team as part of a new apprenticeship scheme in September 2020. The Ortus Group partnered with the RNN Group and North Notts College to offer the apprentices the qualification of Engineering Technician Mechatronics, Level 3.

Lee is our fulfilment coordinator in our warehouse ensuring all day-to-day task are achieved efficiently & effectively. He is responsible for coordinating the daily inventory, from picking and packing to goods-in acceptance.
